Today, I wanted to check in on all of you to see how you managing, feeling, coping, etc.
We are all experiencing different emotions from day to day, moment to moment. Somedays we may feel grounded and solid, and then the next day real panic can set it. The whirlwind of emotions do seem appropriate, given the massive struggles we are all enduring, sadly some far more than others. As a whole, these extremes are wreaking havoc on all of our nervous systems, to say the least.
Since I do know how powerful the mind is, I am trying to make the best of mine. Our thoughts do become our reality, so why not win with our thoughts? The alternative is pretty terrifying. Besides, I do think the yogis and spiritual masters are on to something with their lessons on the power of positive thinking, manifesting health and well being and mind mastery, don't you?
One of the things that I practice daily is meditation. The benefits are scientifically proven, and I know first hand that they only make me feel better, never worse. Sold. If sitting quietly with yourself feels too hard, I highly suggest finding a guided meditation on youtube. It's like giving your mind a massage. I also write down affirmations each day. In case you are not familiar with what Affirmations are, they are positive reminders or statements that can be used to encourage and motivate yourself or others.
I wanted to give you some of the affirmations that I use, and by all means, make your own.
My hope is that these practices will help bring inner peace, health and positive energy to all of us.
